RCOA is now offering a new affordable fixed-site Turn Key Cardiac PET Service. This new service includes:

• Installed PET scanner at practice site
• Rubidium (Rb-82) generator
• Technologist
• Build-out allowance
• Maintenance

All of the above cardiac PET service components are included in our one year service agreement. RCOA assumes the capital costs for the scanner and the generator.

Cardiac PET utilizing Rb-82 provides for higher interpretive clarity with better attenuation correction. The Rb-82 cardiac PET scan only requires 40-45 minutes for the total scan. Radiation exposure is less than one quarter than SPECT radiation exposure. Cardiac PET is reimbursable by Medicare and private insurance carriers and can be a valuable professional income enhancement.
